ASELSAN Precision Optics' lenses eliminate foreign dependency

ASELSAN Precision Optics facility, which operates in a 5,000 m2 closed area within the Sivas Organized Industrial Zone, plans to produce 100,000 lenses annually using high technology. ASELSAN Precision Optics, which has become a leader in Europe with this capacity, is also pioneering the spread of high technology and the defense industry throughout the country.
According to the news in Defence Türk, in addition to production and electro-optical assembly, ASELSAN Precision Optics also carries out R&D activities at Cumhuriyet University Teknokent Campus. ASELSAN Precision Optics, which aims to eliminate Turkey's dependence on foreign countries for lens production and to pioneer the spread of high quality electro-optical products and high technology to Anatolia, sees all countries of the world as its target market.
